The Sharks Skills sessions is an opportunity for boys and girls, aged 6-10 years, that love their football and want to improve their technique and skill set.
Led by Martin Garcia and the Shark Academy coaches the 7 week programme follows the New Zealand Football Junior Framework curriculum with an emphasis on developing key competencies including striking the ball (passing, shooting), receiving and controlling the ball, traveling with the ball (running and dribbling) and defending. The participants will be encouraged to express themselves in small-sided games at the end of each session.
The first step in their football development this programme is aimed at providing players with a sound learning platform for them to grow their confidence and improve technique in a fun and enjoyable environment.
The sessions kickoff on 16th February and will run on consecutive Fridays till 23rd March between 4.15pm-5.15pm at Wakefield Park.
Numbers are capped and places confirmed on payment.
