Island Bay United is extremely pleased to announce that Capital Football has awarded a provision licence for our Talent Development Programme for 2019.
Shane Kinley, Island Bay United’s Senior Club Captain says:
On behalf of the IBUAFC Committee, I’m thrilled that our Talent Development propgramme has been approved by Capital Football. This is a really exciting opportunity for IBUAFC to be involved in youth talent development, which we are expecting to strengthen the club as a whole over time, with more talented players becoming a part of our senior club over the next few years.
We’ve had great success with this over the last few years, most notably with a strong under 17 team this year and Jesse Randell being recognised as Capital Football young player of the year. We know that there are a number of other outstanding players coming through from the junior grades who will benefit greatly from the TDP and remain connected to IBUAFC. We have a fantastic team that will be running this and I’d really like to thank the group who put together our proposal and have worked tirelessly on behalf of the club and our future players.Shane Kinley, IBUAFC Club Captain
